About Mrs. Read

Hello my name is Liza Read, I am happy to be back at preschool and teaching the four year olds Monday - Friday.

I live in Solvang with my husband and have four grown daughters and four grandchildren.  I enjoy reading, swimming, fishing, and the beach in my spare time. I have been involved with the SYVPPS for many years as a parent, board member, and teacher. I enjoy incorporating music, art, and science into our daily routine and look for teachable moments in all situations. I am also very thankful to share my faith and attend chapel with the students.
